Open Call for Projects - Submit Your Project Information by September 4th!

​The Village of Marcellus has released the Open Call for Projects form at a key point in the Village’s NY Forward planning process.

The Village's Local Planning Committee (LPC) is soliciting transformative, impactful projects that will enhance the downtown area and improve quality of life. Interested property and business owners within the NY Forward study area boundary are encouraged to complete a form and submit it to the project team as soon as possible.

The Local Planning Committee and consultant team will only consider projects submitted through the Open Call for Projects before the September 4 deadline. By January 2027, the LPC will recommend a slate of potential projects to the State for NY Forward funding consideration.

The consultant team is offering two opportunities for project sponsors to learn more: 
  • A virtual webinar was held on Tuesday, August 11 via Zoom.  The recording can be viewed here.  
  • In-person office hours will be held from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Thursday, August 20 at Village Hall (6 Slocombe Ave)

Property and business owners with smaller projects, with a total project cost of less than $100,000, are encouraged to complete a simple Small Project Fund Interest Form to indicate their interest in such a fund.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Marcellus, its employees as well as the residents of our community, I would like to extend a warm welcome. We are pleased that you chose to visit our web site and hope that you find it interesting, helpful and easy to use.

We are a friendly community of quiet tradition and comfortable living and proud of our Village, as illustrated by the many welcome banners that grace our streets and the entrance signs that greet both visitors and residents.
