Grant Review Advisory Committee
The Village of Marcellus Grant Review Advisory Committee was established by the Village Board in 2026 to help identify and research grant funding opportunities that can support community priorities such as infrastructure improvements, environmental initiatives, recreation, historic preservation, and other Village projects. Serving in an advisory capacity, the Committee assists by researching grant programs, gathering background information, sharing funding opportunities with Village officials, and helping develop ideas for projects that may be eligible for grant funding. The Committee does not have the authority to submit grant applications, commit Village resources, or make decisions on behalf of the Village; those responsibilities remain with the Mayor and Village Board. The Committee consists of three volunteer Village residents appointed by the Mayor with Village Board approval and operates in compliance with New York State Open Meetings Law, ensuring transparency and public access to its meetings and records. Through its efforts, the Committee helps strengthen the Village’s ability to pursue external funding opportunities that benefit the community.
